EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

  • Associate’s degree in nursing or related field required. Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • Requires current licensure in the State of Michigan in a health care related field is preferred.
  • Requires three (3) years of progressively responsible health care experience, one (1) year of which should be in home health care, hospice or home infusion arena; previous supervisory experience is preferred.
  • Analytical ability required to evaluate the effectiveness of policies and procedure and make recommendations for improvement.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills required to provide guidance and supervision to assigned leadership, professional, support and clerical staff and to interact with all levels and types of internal and external customers.

CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSURES REQUIRED:

  • License in the State of Michigan as a Registered Nurse, PT, OT, Speech Language Pathologist or Social Work required.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS/WORKING CONDITIONS:

  • May need to lift, carry, bend, stoop or be otherwise physically active in the normal course of job duties.
  • May work in the patient’s home which is an uncontrolled environment. May be exposed to potentially infectious materials, blood borne-disease pathogens and hazardous waste.
  • Works in a normal office environment where there is little discomfort due to noise, heat, dust, etc.
  • Works on a computer keyboard for extended periods of time.
  • May drive to and from patients’ homes and various offices located in the Detroit Metropolitan area in varied weather and traffic conditions.
