Clinical & Education Coordinator - APP Division - Full Time - Detroit

Shift: Full Time, Monday through Friday 8:00AM-4:30PM

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Clinical and Educational Coordinator to support our Advanced Practice Providers (APPs) program. This role is ideal for a professional with experience in healthcare administration, clinical coordination, education, or project management. The coordinator will play a key role in overseeing program logistics, managing educational initiatives, and supporting APP operations. Candidates with prior experience as a high-level executive assistant in a healthcare setting are strongly encouraged to apply. This position requires strong organizational skills, the ability to manage multiple priorities, and a proactive approach to problem-solving in a fast-paced environment.

GENERAL SUMMARY: 

In collaboration with department leadership, facilitates clinical and educational work for Advanced Practice Providers (APPs) by providing coordination, leadership, and day-to-day management of educational programs and clinical initiatives. Coordinates new hire and student programs/initiatives and APP-focused projects for leaders and staff. Formulates needed enhancements for processes and works with internal and external stakeholders to successfully meet established goals and deadlines. Demonstrates initiative, resourcefulness, strong interpersonal and communication skills and problem-solving skills in working independently to complete assigned APP projects and initiatives. 

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

  • Bachelor's degree in a healthcare, administrative, or related field.
  • Three (3) years of experience in an educational, clinical, or project management environment. 
  • Strong organizational, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Ability to prioritize assignments, work independently, and meet deadlines.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Demonstrated knowledge and skills with data management applications and Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, and Word).
  • Strong data collection and report development ability.
  • Must have good interpersonal skills, customer service attributes and ability to communicate effectively with internal and external customers.
