Certified Nurse Midwife Rotating Shift Full Time Chesterfield & Clinton Township
- Robust opportunity to serve pregnant women in the Macomb community.
- Ample opportunity for flexibility in schedule and experience on L&D as well as clinic.
- We have 4 clinics in the Macomb area and this position would be primarily based in one clinic but may require the occasional floating for coverage in other clinics.
- We work as a team and our ultimate goal is to provide the best care we can to our patients.
- You would see primarily ob patients, but have the opportunity to work with physicians to provide support for gyn patients as well
- Practices in a formal relationship with obstetricians so that consultation and transfer of a patient is always available. Functions within the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology as a provider of inpatient and outpatient prenatal, natal and postnatal care, including periodic gynecologic and breast examinations.
- A Certified Nurse Midwife (CNM), with core privileges, can admit and discharge normal obstetrical patients, elicit histories, perform physical examinations, order and interpret tests, make diagnoses, institute treatment, order consultations, and treat common diseases.
- Specific procedures within the specialty are individually credentialed.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
Requires Master's Degree in Nursing; licensure as a Certified Nurse Midwife; licensure as a Registered Nurse; and BCLS certification.
