EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Industrial/Operations Engineering, Business, Health Care Administration or related field required.  Master’s Degree preferred.
  • Five years of progressive experience in the health care industry.  Experience in health plans or relevant experience is required.
  • Requires at least 5 years in a professional role directly involved with organizational performance and business process improvement.
  • Experience using and applying process improvement best practices and techniques/methodologies in a structured project environment.
  • Experience overseeing the design, strategy and project planning in technical training.
  • Demonstrated experience in Project Management principles, including Corporate PMO management/implementations.
  • Demonstrated experience in planning, developing, staffing, and delivering system/technical training to diverse end user constituents
  • Experience and advanced working knowledge of managed care principles and high-level understanding of managed care business functions (e.g. Sales, Membership & Billing, Claims and Medical Mgt.) is required

  • Ability to build collaborative relationships with leadership (including executives) from all functional areas within HAP  
  • Ability to coordinate tasks and initiatives with staff enterprise-wide
  • Organized program management including employing standardized processes and documentation
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills for developing collaterals, reporting to leadership, and developing presentations to groups inside/outside of HAP
  • Ability to work and lead in a team environment with flexibility and adaptability
