Application Analyst & Programmer
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
- Bachelors degree with strong health care experience is required.
- Minimum of 3 - 5 years in a Data Analytics is required.
- Minimum of 3 - 5 years IT applications experience is required.
- Minimum of 5 - 7 years in a Data Analytics, preferred.
- Minimum of 5 - 7 years IT applications experience; with 4 - 6 years analyzing, developing, and implementing complex technical solutions, preferred.
- Knowledgeable in the use of Microsoft Office products Excel, Access, PowerPoint, and Word.
- Knowledgeable in the use of a structured query language in a relational database.
- Knowledgeable in the use of HFHS Corporate Data Stores.
- Knowledgeable in the use of a programming language (Application programming, preferring Java, Oracle, SQL, Crystal Reports and Microsoft SQL Server and BI Query tool required; Application system design; Package System Implementation and Package System Maintenance; and Relational databases (e.g. Access or Oracle) required).
- Experience in project management.
- The ideal candidate will have experience in gathering and organizing data from disparate sources and presenting findings to leadership in a way that is useful for decision support, benchmarking, and quality performance tracking.
- The candidate will be skilled at interacting with clinical, operational and technical teams to define requirements and translate operational needs.
- This individual will also possess excellent communication and analytical skills including being comfortable communicating alternative ideas with clinicians related to information options and solutions.
