Director - Project & Product Administration

The Director Project & Product Administration with Health Alliance Plan (HAP) will be responsible for leading and implementing Agile Project Management processes across Enterprise and Call Center Operations, driving product and project strategies, and supporting organizational goals through effective leadership, collaboration, and data-driven decision-making. Key responsibilities include defining and maintaining project roadmaps, overseeing product and project operations, and enhancing the performance of team members across various roles. The position also serves as a liaison with business and technology stakeholders to foster lean practices, optimize workflows, and ensure successful product growth and retention. With a focus on strategy and transformation, the role requires proactive engagement with senior leadership, cross-functional teams, and customers to identify opportunities for product innovation and operational efficiency.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
- Bachelor's degree in business, information technology, or related field. Master's degree in business administration, IT, or related field is preferred.
- 3-5+ years of leadership experience in agile delivery (for example, as a Product Owner, Agile Coach) in an environment that scaled work across multiple teams.
- 3-5+ years of experience managing enterprise projects and programs, with a focus either on application delivery or project management.
- Experience with Lean, Product Thinking, and Implementation.
- Ability to function in a creative, out-of-the box thinking in order to develop original solutions to overcome roadblocks.
- Strong leader, educator, coach, and servant leader. An excellent communicator and motivator.
- Ability to function in an autonomous manner in an unstructured and rapidly changing environment.
- Experience with consumer experience or customer journey mapping preferred. Knowledge of managed care principles and high-level understanding of managed care business functions (e.g., Sales, Membership & Billing, Claims).
- Agile Leadership Certification (optional).
- Proficiency with data analysis tools such as SQL, Excel, or Power BI, along with experience in using analytics to drive business insights and performance improvements.
- Experience in interpreting complex data sets and translating them into actionable business insights that inform strategy and execution.
CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSURES REQUIRED:
- Scrum Master or Product Owner certification preferred.
