Social Worker-CCS-Southfield-Fulltime-$5000 Sign on Bonus
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
· Masters of Social Work degree required.
· Must be a Licensed Master’s Social Worker (LMSW). · ACSW and previous experience in a healthcare setting preferred.
· Demonstrates understanding of the impact of involvement, personal attitude toward illness, handicaps, death and loss, on the quality of patient care and staff effectiveness.
· Knowledgeable of the basic medical procedures, terminology, etiology and disease process associated with the illnesses of the client population.
CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSURES REQUIRED:
- Licensure in the State of Michigan as a Social Worker (LMSW).
PHYSICAL DEMANDS/WORKING CONDITIONS:
- May be exposed to potentially infectious materials, bloodborne disease pathogens and hazardous waste.
- May work in the client’s home which is an uncontrolled environment. May need to lift, carry, bend, stoop or be otherwise physically active in the normal course of job duties.
- May drive to and from clients’ homes located in the Detroit Metropolitan area in varied weather and traffic conditions. May require a valid driver’s license and a satisfactory driving record. May require rotating on-call responsibilities
