Service Line and Registry Data Coordinator - Cardiovascular Medicine - Full Time/Days - Allegiance Health - Jackson, MI
Minimum Education
RN with Bachelor’s degree in relevant field
Minimum Work Experience
Minimum of three (3) years of successful quality improvement experience in related clinical area is required.
Minimum of two (2) years of related clinical experience is required.
Required Licenses/Certifications
Current nursing licensure in Michigan is required
Required Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities
Demonstrated analytical skills required for the ability to develop and prepare analysis, reports and presentations, and to manipulate database information from hospital systems.
Interpersonal and communication skills necessary to effectively provide leadership and technical support to staff, to effectively
convey results and recommendations, and to interact with outside consultants and vendors.
Advanced technical skills required to efficiently utilize mainframe and PC based computers needed to complete projects.
Proficient in computer spreadsheets and databases, word processing and graphics.
Knowledge of hospital data systems and a thorough understanding of decision support systems.
Ability to organize, prioritize, and manage several projects at one time.
Independent decision-maker, objective, honest, assertive and motivation required.
Ability to operationalize evidence based findings into relevant clinical practice.
Policy and Procedure creation and ongoing evaluation including outcome measures.
Demonstrates leadership ability, communications, and interpersonal skills necessary to interact effectively with physicians,
management, staff, external agencies/customers and patients/families.
Attendance at National and State Collaborative, State Registry Conference meetings.
Preferred Qualifications
MSN or other appropriate Master’s degree is preferred
