Senior Programmer Analyst/Radiation Oncology (days full time) Detroit Campus
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
- A technical level of knowledge in programming, job control languages and systems design concepts such as that acquired through the completion of two to three years of college level coursework in computer sciences, programming or a related field or the equivalent in related work experience required.
- A minimum of four years programming and data communication experience with systems analysis skills required for specification development, required.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE PREFERRED:
- Master’s Degree in software development, computer science and three years of experience or a PhD in software development, computer science preferred.
- Programing experience with one or more of C/C++, .Net, Asp, PHP, Metlab, scripting languages (perl, ruby, etc.) and web programming.
- Demonstrates ability to work to written specifications, works collaboratively, documents code, and uses best practices (code version control tools).
- Biomedical application development with an emphasis on numerical demanding applications such as image processing or similar biomedical problems.
- Platform and applications support in a Windows 7, Windows server and/or Linux environment; specific expertise with Linux cluster would be valuable.
