Minimum Education
Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (BSN)
Minimum Work Experience
Two (2) years of home care clinical experience
Experience in developing, implementing and monitoring quality is desirable
Required Licenses/Certifications
Current Michigan nursing license
Required Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities
Effective communication skills and knowledge of the care of the pediatric, adolescent, adult and geriatric patient
Must be able to work independently, be capable of solving problems with theoretical and practical approaches using good judgment
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Preferred Qualifications
OASIS certification and/or Hospice certification
Previous experience in teaching adult learners and experience as a preceptor in a clinical environment
