RN Clinical Unit Leader - 7 North West - Med/Surg Unit - Full Time - Nights - Allegiance Health - Jackson, MI
MINIMUM EDUCATION
Bachelors of Science in Nursing (BSN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) with the expectation of obtaining a BSN within five (5) years
REQUIRED LICENSES/CERTIFICATIONS
Current Michigan Nursing License
Valid BLS certification
REQUIRED SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE, AND ABILITIES
Ability to problem solve; effective verbal and written communication skills and interpersonal skills necessary for effective leadership of the patient care team
Strong nursing processes, critical thinking, and advanced assessment skills required
Knowledge about and experience in the department population served
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Previous experience in a leadership role (Charge Nurse, Supervisor, Shift Supervisor, etc…)
Minimum three (3) years-experience in an acute care environment
