Henry Ford Health System is seeking a Board Certified OB/GYN- Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility Physician within the Department of Women's Health Services.  The position requires a clinician with proven clinical proficiency and strong leadership qualities. Effective team building, communication and customer service skills are essential. This candidate joins the Henry Ford Medical Group, one of the nation’s largest and most experienced group practices, with more than 1,200 physicians and researchers in more than 40 specialties who staff all Henry Ford hospitals and outpatient medical centers.

 

The Physician will provide leadership, oversight, and direction to the faculty, staff, and trainees in clinical care and education. The Physician is expected to have an impact on all aspects of fertility care within the System and work in a highly collaborative manner with all clinical and educational staff.  Working with the Department Chair, the provider will focus on improving, developing, and implementing quality monitoring of clinical services. Additionally, they will participate with the Department Chair and leadership group to determine quality, productivity, revenue and expense targets.


Responsibilities:

• Outpatient clinical care
• Provide appropriate oversight and clinical teaching of medical students, residents, nurse practitioner and other learners
• Proportionate share of night and weekend calls from home for IVF patients

• Inpatient clinical care for IVF/GYN surgical patients

• Perform IVF procedures/GYN surgeries

• Provide support to, and work collaboratively with all HFMG services


• Board-certified OB/GYN (MD)
• Proficient with ambulatory/hospital EMR systems

• Clinical excellence with prior experience in a REI/IVF practice
• Exceptional communication skills 
• Devoted to providing quality, patient centered care
• Commitment to resident and medical student education
