EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: 

1. Bachelors of Science in Nursing, required. 

2. Minimum of three years RN clinical experience, preferred. 

3. Possess interpersonal communication and negotiation skills. 

4. Possess analytical, data management and PC skills. 

5. Current working knowledge of discharge planning, utilization management, case management, performance improvement and managed care reimbursement, preferred. 

6. Organizational and time management skills, as evidenced by capacity to prioritize multiple tasks and role components with minimal supervision. 

7. Ability to work independently and exercise sound judgment in interactions with physicians, payors, and patients and their families. 

8. Performs duties in a manner to promote quality patient care and customer satisfaction, while promoting safety, cost efficiency, and a commitment to Continuous Quality Improvement process. 

 

CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSURES REQUIRED: 

Current and valid license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the State of Michigan.
