Provider Enrollment Coordinator - Full Time - Allegiance Health - Jackson, MI
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
High School diploma or equivalent.
Minimum of three years related work experience.
Required Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities:
Excellent organizational and time management skills necessary to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
Ability to adapt to a flexible work schedule in order to accommodate physician/practitioner schedules and meet urgent
deadlines.
Must be detail-oriented and thorough in order to minimize rework associated with complex enrollment requirements.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills to effectively interact with a wide variety of customers at all levels both
within the organization and externally.
Must be able to work productively and cohesively in a team oriented environment and foster good working relationships with
others both within and outside of the organization. Ability to contribute to the goals and objectives of the department as a
highly effective team member.
Exhibits a high degree of discretion and responsibility to protect confidential and personal information collected as part of the
application process.
Demonstrate proficiency in computer skills including; Word, Access, Excel, State of Michigan C HAMPS system, Medicare’s
PEC OS system, and C AQH application software.
Ability to identify, analyze, and offer solutions to problems as they arise.
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor degree in a related field such as business or health care administration.
Previous medical billing experience and medical terminology proficiency
