Nurse Practitioner Physician Assistant/Orthopedic Walk-In Clinic/Grosse Pointe/Afternoons/20 Hours
- Must be a Masters prepared Registered Nurse who has graduated and taken the board certification within their chosen specialty Must have no encumbering circumstances, which would prevent credentialing by the Henry Ford Medical board. Requires licensure as a Certified Nurse Practitioner; licensure as a Registered Nurse -OR- Must be a Masters prepared Physician Assistant who has graduated and taken the board certification. Must have no encumbering circumstances which would prevent credentialing by the Henry Ford Medical board. Requires licensure as a Physician Assistant in the state of Michigan
- Must be eligible or have obtained a DEA number for prescriptive authority in Michigan
- BCLS Certification required
- Requires certification in one of the following: ANA certification exam in a nursing specialty field; National Certification Corporation (NCC); National Certification Board of Pediatric Nurse Practitioners and Associates; and/or Certification from Michigan State Board of Nursing as a Nurse Practitioner (NP)
- A minimum of 2 years working as an Advanced Practice Provider working in Orthopedic or Emergency medicine is preferred
- The ability to autonomously diagnose and initially treat pediatrics, spine, hand, sports, and traumatic orthopedic-related injuries in an outpatient setting is preferred
- The ability to independently interpret radiographic imaging is preferred
