This is a full-time position located at the Hospice Administration office in Sterling Heights.  Must be a licensed RN in the State of Michigan. This position will be responsible for managing Quality, Education, Bereavement, Volunteers and Triage.

  • Manages the Hospice Quality, Education, and On Call programs. Responsible for planning, implementing, monitoring and evaluating the educational activities of the Hospice staff, the quality of care provided through quarterly monitors according to the Quality Assessment and Performance Improvement Plan, ensuring compliance with regulatory agencies. 
  • Manages the quality, education, and on call staff coordinating to attain quality, education, and on call goals. 
  • Provides performance feedback, coaching and education opportunities to quality, education and on call staff. 
  • Position requires on-call responsibilities, and may require patient visits in the home or nursing facility.  
  • Requires graduation as a Registered Nurse from an accredited school of nursing. 
  • Bachelor's Degree in Nursing or comparable experience required; supplemental courses in teaching methods and/or counseling/guidance preferred. 
  • Requires current licensure as a registered nurse in the State of Michigan.
  • Requires a minimum of three years of progressively more responsible nursing experience, including a minimum of two years clinical quality experience. 
  • Previous experience as a hospice or home care RN and leadership is preferred. 
  • Requires understanding and acceptance of the Hospice concept of care.
  • Knowledge of CMS Conditions of Participation
