EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:


  • Bachelor's Degree in a related IT Security discipline and/or comparable IT Security job experience required.
  • At least five (5) years of hands-on experience with three or more infrastructure components listed: Firewalls (Juniper, Checkpoint, Cisco, Fortinet); Secure Web Gateways (Bluecoat, Websense); Application/Service Delivery Controllers (Citrix, F5); Remote Access VPNs (Juniper, Citrix, Cisco, F5).
  • Three (3) years of experience security solution planning, implementation, and maintenance.
  • Advanced knowledge of IP protocols, Routing (BGP, OSPF, EIGRP), Switching, Network topologies and design, IPSEC, VPNs and wireless networks.
  • Advanced knowledge of TCP/IP, IPSEC, SNMP, Syslog, HTTP(S), SSH, DHCP, DNS, RDP, LDAP, ICMP, and SMTP protocols. HIPAA, Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI), ISO 27000, ISO 9000 knowledge desired. Working knowledge of element/device management, configuration management, Active Directory, proactive monitoring and alerting, VMWare, virtual meeting and database apps.
  • Ability to multitask project load, on-call rotation, tasks and meetings.
  • A service focused team player with the ability to interact with customers at all levels.
  • Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills demonstrated both over the phone and face-to-face in order to communicate technical information in non-technical terms.
  • Ability to work under pressure, establish priorities and respond with urgency. Self-motivated with excellent verbal and written skills.


CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSURES REQUIRED:


  • ITIL v3.0 certification preferred or within six (6) months.
  • Applicable certification preferred (e.g., CCIE, CISSP, GIAC, etc.) or obtained within two (2) years of employment.
