Medical Review Officer Assistant (experience in drug/alcohol screening) - Occupational Health- Full Time
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
Requires a high school diploma or GED. Post high school education in Business, Health Care Administration, or related field preferred.
Requires a minimum of one year of previous business or public contact experience to include office procedures, customer service emphasis, scheduling, registration, or medical clinic reception.
Requires certification as a Medical Review Officer Assistant according to federal Department of Transportation guidelines, or certification within six (6) months of hire. Failure to obtain MRO-A certification within six months of hire will result in termination in the MRO-A position.
Knowledge and/or experience in the field of drug and alcohol collection processes preferred. Requires computer skills using Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Knowledge of Visio, Careplus, Medipac, and PeopleSoft is preferred.
Requires strong interpersonal skills to communicate with clients at all levels and oversee work duties of clerical personnel.
Strong communication skills and the ability to handle multiple tasks and projects within the constraints of deadlines and conflicting demands.
Requires analytical/critical thinking abilities to assess a situation and determine necessary steps to complete task, with minimal supervision.
