EDUCATION/EXPERIENCED REQUIRED:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Computer Engineering, Systems Analysis or a related field required. Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Computer Engineering, Systems Analysis or a related field preferred.
  • Minimum of seven (7) years of progressive work experience in multiple IT areas.
  • Minimum of five (5) years’ experience working at a health plan or similar experience.
  • Minimum of three (3) years’ experience working in a management roll (with direct reports) leading and implementing new programs in the Medicare Advantage, ACA and/or Medicaid space.
  • High degree of healthcare provider or payer industry knowledge preferred.
  • Prior experience in a technical lead or consulting role leading Information Management related initiatives (system integration, data warehouse build, data mart build, or similar) is required.
  • Requires expert level knowledge and understanding of data warehouse architecture, application design, systems engineering and integration.
  • Demonstrated experience leading teams that analyze complex data related issues and/or logical data models in support of corporate and customer information systems requirements.
  • Solid understanding of methodologies and technologies that depict the flow of data within and between technology systems and business functions/operations
  • Must be able to handle difficult and sensitive situations using sound, independent judgment within general policy and legal guidelines.
  • Must have led the design and architecture of end to end implementations of multiple large-scale data integration projects
  • Demonstrated ability to manage, coordinate, and lead simultaneously. Ability to estimate time frames and meet projected deadlines
  • Demonstrated ability to develop buy-in and drive change across a wide variety of team members, departments, and stakeholders, including senior-level leadership
  • Proven track record in managing diverse teams, including highly-skilled technical resources as well as developing team members of varying skill levels.
  • Ability to assign, guide, and monitor the work of others regardless of the reporting relationship (direct, project, indirect).
  • Excellent strategic thinker with ability to provide thoughtful leadership to develop creative solutions for complex business and technical problems.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Able to develop and present complex material effectively to a variety of audiences – technical and non-technical, staff, management and leadership.
  • Nature of the work requires progressive interpersonal communication, decision making, financial and technical skills; ability to introduce new ideas, processes, measures and tools to improve healthcare performance
  • High energy; strong leadership, analytical, project planning and coordination skills to enable efficient, timely task completion of deliverables that meet or exceed customer expectations.
  • Demonstrated ability to function in a creative, "out-of-the-box" thinking in order to develop original solutions to overcome roadblocks and meet or exceed customer requirements and expectations.
  • Knowledge of business intelligence applications, data, and tools
  • Knowledge of Medicare ACA and Medicaid reimbursement methodologies a plus.
  • Strong qualitative, quantitative, analytical, and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to organize and manage multiple priorities and/or projects by using appropriate methodologies and tools
  • Demonstrated ability to manage, coordinate, and lead simultaneously. Ability to estimate time frames and meet projected deadlines
  • Demonstrated ability to develop buy-in and drive change across a wide variety of team members, departments, and stakeholders, including senior-level leadership
