Imaging Biomed Equipment Technician
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
Associate degree in electronics/biomedical technology or equivalent, to include military, original equipment manufacturer (OEM), or industry recognized technical training program.
Must have at least five years as a general biomed or one year experience servicing imaging equipment with certification on schools attended from 3rd party or OEM vendor in medical imaging equipment.
Through completion of the Clinical Engineering Skills Competency Assessment shows a basic well rounded knowledge and exhibits continual improvement on an annual basis.
Some basic knowledge of networking and computers and their application in medical imaging.
Provides technical leadership and guidance to Clinical Engineering staff throughout the HFHS.
Contributes to the creation and maintenance of support documentation in his or her area of expertise.
