Henry Ford Hospital – Jackson (HFHJ) is a 420-bed health system in Jackson, Michigan. HFHJ complements traditional acute care services with primary and community-based to support patients across the health continuum at every stage of life. Our Level II Trauma Center provides comprehensive care for severely injured patients. As a teaching hospital, Henry Ford Hospital - Jackson continually looks to the future with its Center for Health Innovation & Education and Graduate Medical Education program. This is an excellent employment opportunity for a BE/BC Urologist, with full support from the community primary care physician network and health system. This opportunity offers a broad-spectrum general urology with ability to expand into specialty areas of interest.
Henry Ford Hospital Jackson serves its growing patient population of over 300,000 with the use of electronic medical records, the support of several existing partnerships.
Details of the practice are:
- 1:4 call rotation
- Exam rooms at each site: 6 rooms at West Michigan, 2 are procedure rooms, 6 rooms at Spring Arbor, 2 are procedure rooms.
- Practice sites are within 8 minutes of the Hospital on West Michigan Ave, and Spring Arbor Road in Jackson
- Support staff - 2 full time Advanced Practice Professionals (APP) and 1 part time, 1 full time for inpatient. 1 full time APP at Spring arbor and 1.5 at west Michigan. 5 Full time MAS and 3 full time front office staff.
- Equipment in the office/ procedures performed: Disposable cystoscopies, BCBG and Gemzar instillation, vasectomies, Uroflow procedures, Urodynamic studies, prostate biopsies, pessary insertion and management, urologic incontinence management, erectile dysfunction treatment.
- Only one hospital to consult.

This opportunity allows a great work/personal life balance. Providers are seeing an average of 22 patients a day, with an average of 2 new patients per day. 2 days in OR with 2 ½ days in clinic.
