EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: Bachelor's Degree in Nursing or related field. Master's degree preferred. Three to five (3-5) years of nursing experience in a clinical environment. Three to five (3-5) years of leadership experience. Experience in oncology preferred. Must possess excellent analytical, written, and verbal communication skills, and be highly effective in a matrixed organizational structure.
CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSURES REQUIRED: Current licensure by the Michigan State Board of Nursing as a Registered Nurse. Certification as an Oncology Certified Nurse (OCN®), Advanced Oncology Certified Nurse (AOCN®), Advanced Oncology Certified Nurse Practitioner (AOCNP®), or Advanced Oncology Certified Nurse Specialist (AOCNS®) at time of hire, or within three (3) years after hire date. NOTE: Nurse Navigators-Oncology already employed by HFHS oncology services have three (3) years to complete certification after entry to this job.
