GENERAL SUMMARY: 

This position is responsible for the strategy, planning, and optimization for Populance’s products. This includes the development of the product strategies, representing the voice of the customer, and informing and partnering with other departments on the development and implementation of specific strategies to streamline processes, enhance customer satisfaction, enhance growth and increase customer retention for Populance products. This position will have responsibility to align the strategy and product roadmap for optimizing growth, retention, and customer needs. 

PRINCIPLE DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Lead and direct cross-functional activities that provide effective oversight, including overseeing the implementation of new or revised program requirements and ensuring that accountable departments have fully implemented and put into practice policies, procedures and processes.
  • Work with stakeholders, customers, users, experts, and others to develop and implement strategies for customer growth and retention.
  • Define product requirements and maintain an ongoing list of product enhancements for the Populance products.
  • Develop product success KPIs and metrics (customer acquisition, growth, retention, engagement etc.).
  • Track and report on product performance and progress against goals.
  • Coordinate and oversee operational opportunities to improve product financial performance.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

 

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Project Management, Information Technology, Health Care, or related field.
  • Minimum of five (5) years of experience in product and/or project management.
  • Minimum of five (5) years’ experience in a managed care, health care, health plan clinical or financial administration environment.
  • Demonstrated experience in project management.
  • Demonstrated leadership experience required.
  • Ability to rapidly learn and iterate product concepts using agile methodologies to create a desirable user experience.
  • Strong analytical, creative problem solving, facilitation, critical thinking and decision making skills.
  • Excellent program and project management skills including planning, prioritizing and problem solving.
  • Excellent communication skills - written, verbal, presentation and interpersonal.
  • Excellent ability to multi-task, influence and negotiate.
  • Excellent ability to work in a fast-paced changing environment.
  • Commitment to service excellence.
  • Respect for diversity.
  • Ability to work in collaboration with groups and work teams.
  • Team spirited. 

CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSURES REQUIRED:

  • Agile certification preferred (ex. Scrum Alliance, SAFE, PMI-ACP).
  • Case Management Certification (CCM) preferred.
