Generalist-Regional SCM Detroit
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
- Bachelors Degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, closely related field or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- One to three years progressively experience in professional level analytical role; healthcare and supply chain management experience preferred.
- Analytical ability to gather and interpret data from a variety of sources, as well as manage multiple projects and/or assignments simultaneously.
- Verbal and written communication skills to interact effectively with hospital personnel and vendors.
- Composition and computer skills to translate data into comprehensive, meaningful reports using word-processing and spreadsheet software.
- Must possess ability to work confidentially with discretion and forethought.
- Must be able to remain calm and composed during confrontational situations.
- Cultivates working relationships that are positive, professional, and collaborative, e.g. constructive handling of disparate views, respectful treatment of others, displays confidence in own abilities, and is perceived as reliable team player.
- Supports workgroup goals, priorities, and direction.
- Mentors other team members, provides feedback to the peer evaluation process, and maintains a positive and professional attitude. Reporting Relationship: Reports to the Region Director of SCM.
