The Henry Ford Medical Group is looking for board certified/eligible Family Medicine or Med/Peds physicians for Walk-In Care Services. Henry Ford operates several urgent care locations in the metro-Detroit area.  Locations include: Livonia, Novi, Dearborn, St. Clair Shores.  This is a full-time and part-time opportunity that provides schedule flexibility.


Walk-In Care services are available for patients with medical situations that require attention, but aren't quite emergencies. Treatment is available for all ages. If immediate, intensive care is needed, transportation to an emergency department will be arranged.


Walk-In Care can handle:

Bladder infections
Broken bones or sprains
Earache, cough and/or sore throat
Eye infections
Fever
Illness with nausea, vomiting and/or diarrhea
Minor asthma-related symptoms
Minor cuts or animal bites where bleeding is controlled
Skin rashes, sunburns or minor burns, such as one from cooking

  • This position will be expected to provide excellent patient care 
  • This position offers opportunities for collaboration, education of medical students, residents, as well as participation in research
  • Physicians who join the Henry Ford Medical Group are employed and work exclusively for the Group
  • Work schedule consists of Monday - Friday, 8:00 am-8:00 pm and Weekends/Holidays, 10:00 am-2:00 pm
  • Must be board certified or eligible in Family Medicine or Med/Peds
  • Residency/Fellowship training by an ACGME/AOA accredited program is required
