Environmental/Release Process Manager
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, information technology, or related field required.
- Minimum 3 years of SDLC, Release Management and/or Project Management experience required.
- Minimum of 18 months experience in an Epic environment during an implementation or optimization/upgrade project required.
- Proven communication skills with multiple levels of an organization, including interaction with multiple operational leaders, project managers and senior level leaders.
- Strong influencing and relationship management skills.
- Excellent ability to manage multiple high priority efforts/ competing priorities and flexibility to adjust to changing requirements, schedules and priorities.
- Ability to contribute and drive process improvements to enhance efficiencies.
- Self-driven and resourceful to achieve goals independently as well as work well in groups.
- Proficient in MS Office Suite, including MS Project.
CERTIFICATION:
- Epic certifications that directly relate to environment configuration and data courier required.
- Certification in any SDLC or Project Management methodology required.
ADDITIONAL EXPERIENCE PREFERRED:
- Working knowledge of Incident/Problem/Change Management frameworks such as ITIL v3, TQM or ISO 9000:2000 (certification not required but is a plus).
- General knowledge of Citrix, Unix, and hardware supporting the environment structures.
- Minimum 2 years demonstrated experience with process improvement tools and methodologies (such as Lean, Six Sigma).
- 3+ years in an Epic environment, spanning both implementation and maintenance (optimization/upgrade).
- Experience with Epic2017 and Epic2018 versions.
- Multi-hospital EHR/EMR experience.
- 1+ years team lead/supervisor/manager experience in a health care environment.
- Epic experience highly preferred.
