Division Chief of Medicine- Macomb
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
- Medical Staff membership in good standing at Henry Ford Macomb Hospital (HFMH) or attainment of membership following job initiation.
- Previous experience in a significant physician leadership position such as Service Line chair, section chair, division head, committee chair or medical director.
- Participation in part-time clinical practice required. Practice should be in a specialty within the Division.
- No previous adverse recommendations concerning medical staff appointment or clinical privileges.
- Previous participation in medical staff leadership training preferred and willingness to continue participation required.
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with multiple stakeholders.
- Excellent administrative and communication skills.
- No appointments to officer or leadership positions in any other medical staff organizations (outside of Henry Ford Health System) while serving as Division Chief at HFMH.
