Dietitian- Home Infusion- Full Time
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:
- Bachelor’s degree in Food/Nutrition or Dietetics and an approved dietetic internship required.
- Registration with the Commission on Dietetic Registration is required; membership in the American Dietetic Association is preferred.
- Minimum of three years of clinical experience is required; one year of home infusion or home health care experience preferred.
- Knowledge of enteral formula conversions is required.
- Knowledge of home infusion policies and procedures is preferred.
- Knowledge of Medicare/Medicaid enteral nutrition requirements is preferred.
- Knowledge of Insurance payer requirements and coverage is preferred.
- Strong interpersonal skills are required to communicate effectively with medical personnel and staff; to obtain information from and explain dietetic restrictions to patients and families; and to design and conduct educational programs for Home Infusion team.
