Under general supervision, and according to established policies and procedures, completes billing forms, enters the appropriate data into the computer and retrieves necessary reports.  Receives patients into the dialysis unit or clinic, obtains patient's records, schedules tests and treatments, registers new patients, transcribes physician's orders, types miscellaneous materials and performs other related duties as required.  Reports to the Head Nurse.  Works closely with billing supervisor, physicians, technical leader and computer support personnel.

  • Maintains payroll records.
  • Fulfills NIS/lab computer responsibilities
  • Fulfills Network requirements.
  • Maintains supplies.
  • Demonstrates working knowledge and understanding of census reports and statistics
  • Demonstrates working knowledge and understanding of unit administrative, organizational, and operating procedures/policies.
  • Other duties as assigned.


  • High School diploma with 6-12 months of on the job training and experience.
