Coordinator - Detroit Institute of Ophthalmology-Support Groups
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED:
Minimum Education and Preferred Experience:
- · Bachelor’s Degree, with some classes in psychology, sociology and group dynamics.·
- At least 1 year of experience working with older adults or individuals with disabilities.
- Experience in planning and facilitating actual meetings
Certifications/Licenses Required:
- Current CPR certification preferred (or obtain within 90 days of hire).
- If applicable, current State of Michigan licensure.
Working Conditions and Physical Demands:
- Flexible schedule, including evening and occasional weekend hours
- Ablity to access reliable transportation
- Professional communication via phone, e-mail, fax, text, conference calling, in-person
