Coordinator - Community Health Education Programs (0.5 Part Time Day Shift) Henry Ford Macomb Hospital
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: BSN Required. Minimum of three (3) years progressively more responsible experience in health care. Prior experience in education, quality assurance or performance improvement activities preferred. Must have vehicle and a valid driver's license and auto insurance and travel to congregations and schools. One (1) year of experience with a patient specific population (i.e. elderly/school age) preferred. Ability to work with diverse populations/groups/teams. Strong verbal, written and interpersonal skills. Group presentation experience required. Strong mathematical and analytical skills and attention to detail. Strong organizational skills; owns and honors deadlines. Working knowledge of computer software for word processing, format development, spreadsheet management and development of educational programs. (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Internet). Must be medically cleared for communicable diseases and have all immunizations up-to-date before engaging in any direct participant contact.
CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSURES REQUIRED: RN License in the State of Michigan required. Must have current/valid driver's license.
