Clinical Therapist - Part time-School Based Community Health Program
Education Required:
- Graduation from an accredited university or college with a Master's Degree or doctorate in social work, clinical psychology or counseling.
- Current licensure by the State of Michigan as a social worker, psychologist or counselor.
- Experience: Clinical knowledge and analytical abilities necessary to formulate effective behavioral health care plans.
- Ability to perform a wide variety of professional behavioral health services.
- Ability to effectively communicate with patients, families, and other personnel.
- Candidates are required to have a master’s degree from an accredited graduate school, in the following discipline: Clinical Social Work, fully licensed, LMSW to practice in the state of Michigan (passed their State of MI Licensure exam).
- A minimum of 3 - 5 years’ experience providing individual, group & family psychotherapy to children, adolescents, and young adults up to age 21 and their families.
- Experience working on a multidisciplinary/integrated team; either in an urban school environment, outpatient behavioral health setting and/or integrated primary care setting with high risk clients/families.
- The skill set to work independently, as well as part of a dynamic integrated team with excellent organization skills.
