Clinical Research Assistant- Full time- Nephrology and Hypertension Research
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
- High School Diploma or G.E.D. Completion of Medical Assistant course can be utilized in this position.
- A Bachelors degree can be utilized in this position.
- Two to three years of relevant experience.
- Requires a working knowledge of computer applications.
- A working knowledge of research methodology, medical terminology preferred.
The Nephrology and Hypertension Research Section is one of the most successful research sections at Henry Ford Health System. We have a team of talented researchers as well as very involved Principal Investigators and Division Head. Our positions are well funded and we are always looking for talented researchers. The desired candidate should: Provide on-site coordination of study-related activities, assistance to investigators and sponsors for assigned projects. Perform all basic activities in the conduct of a research study while ensuring compliance with FDA regulations, ICH guidelines, GCP principles, and Henry Ford Health System policies. Responsible for the preparation of sponsor initiated site visits including scheduling the visit, preparing the research materials. Assist the monitor throughout the course of the site visit, and complete follow-up procedures as directed by the monitor. Perform study start-up and progression activities.
