Minimum Education/Experience:
Minimum of a four-year undergraduate degree is required. A Masters level degree in a related field is desirable, and at least ten years of related on the job training in the area of healthcare operations/management or other highly similarly regulated industry supported by a track record of success in program and process implementation/administration. 
 
Required License/Certification:
Certification in Healthcare Compliance is required
 
Required Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities:
Professional level knowledge and a working understanding of the complex combination of healthcare legal and regulatory requirements and internal control systems and procedures.
A working knowledge of documentation, coding, and billing requirements for governmental payors in all applicable healthcare business lines is required.
Knowledge of and passion for ethical conduct and compliance; a personal presence that is characterized by a sense of honesty, integrity, and caring with the ability to inspire and motivate others to promote an accountable, transparent, and ethical business culture.
Must possess strong problem-solving, conflict management, and consensus building skills. These are evidenced through interpersonal skills consisting of flexibility, pragmatism, and the ability to remain calm and level-headed in crisis situations.
Must possess excellent organizational and planning skills, including the ability to prioritize multiple tasks and perform them both accurately and simultaneously.
Must be able to effectively operate within a matrixed reporting structure and shared services resource environment.
Maintain an expert knowledge of applicable Federal, State and local laws and regulations, the Corporate Compliance Plan and Code of Conduct.
Maintain network of professionals with specialization in key areas available to draw upon for highly specialized input regarding laws and regulations and operational matters.
Maintain level of expertise regarding established integrity/compliance policies and procedures in order to ensure adherence in a manner that reflects honest, ethical and professional behavior.
Possess exceptional engagement and communication skills.
Possess exceptional organizational skills, with experience in multitasking and work prioritization.
Possess ability to engage and communicate with all elements of the workforce, leadership and governance.
 
Preferred Qualifications:
A Masters level degree in a related field is desirable
