Building Engineer - Fulltime - Rotating Shifts - Detroit
GENERAL SUMMARY:
You’ll ensure safe and economical maintenance and operation of all facets of building maintenance, including but not limited to, performing preventative maintenance on all HVAC and mechanical equipment, interact with patients, team members and other licensed engineering personnel.
PRINCIPLE DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Keep our facilities in top share to provide a safe and comfortable environments for patients and staff.
· Oversee the operation and maintenance of HVAC, plumbing, electrical and safety systems.
· Address emergency repairs and perform routine inspections to prevent issues.
· Implement energy-saving measures and contribute to cost-effective building operations.
· Study and understand blueprints.
· Act as a team leader for various maintenance projects.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
• Third (3rd) class refrigeration license.
• Journeyman HV AC mechanical license.
• Electrical Journeyman license.
• Boiler High-pressure license or above.
• Journeyman plumbing with heating/cooling experience of three (3) years.
• A minimum of one (1) of the above with five to eight (5-8) years of experience in maintenance of a large industrial or institutional faculty
