Branch Manager (Registered Nurse)- Henry Ford at Home-Full-Time-Days
PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Manages the operations of a Henry Ford at Home branch office in accordance with accreditation, regulatory, reimbursement and corporate standards and policies.
- Provides oversight of patient care services at the branch office including patient referral and intake coordination, patient care coordination, patient/staff assignments and scheduling, and development of individualized plans of care that are implemented and updated according to the ongoing needs of each patient.
- Directs the interdisciplinary team in providing continuity of care and evaluates effectiveness of care. Interviews applicants and participates in the selection of staff.
- Evaluates the performance of staff and participates in corrective actions or termination of staff members as necessary.
- Manages the activities of, but not limited to, supervisor, team leader, community health nurses, home health aides, therapists, social workers, spiritual counselors, volunteers and clerical support staff and others to ensure high quality, cost effective operations.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED:
- Associate’s degree in nursing required.
- Bachelor’s degree in nursing preferred.
- Requires current Registered Nurse license in the State of Michigan.
- Requires a minimum of (3) years of progressively responsible health care experience, one (1) year of which should be in home health care, hospice or home infusion arena; previous supervisory experience is preferred.
