153201 - Sr Systems Analyst- RIS
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
- Bachelors Degree in computer related field.
- Minimum 6 years experience in computer related field such as systems analysis and/or programming.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Leadership skills to be able to direct the work of a small group of analysts and programmers working on assigned systems.
- Experience in providing guidance and mentoring to team members on technical aspects of IT.
- Extremely high level of analytical ability in order to (a) analyze changes and enhancements in vendor software packages and to evaluate the impact of such enhancements on existing production systems design, programming standards and existing operating procedures and (b) monitor computer system performance and analyze data in order to determine the extent to which the performance characteristics of the system are being attained. In-depth knowledge of system software programming as well as an experience-based knowledge of the application programming architecture for the Hospital.
