Utilization Review Nurse (Registered Nurse/RN) - Health Alliance Plan - Troy
EDUCATION/CERTIFICATION/LICENSE REQUIRED
路 Nursing Diploma or equivalent.
路 A current, valid Michigan license to practice as a Registered Nurse without any conditions, limitations or restrictions.
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
路 Minimum of four (4) years hospital clinical experience medical, surgical, orthopedic, neuro-surgery or pediatric nursing.
路 Demonstrated knowledge of pathophysiology with application of critical thinking skills.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
路 HMO or managed care experience.
路 Two (2) years Utilization Management and/or Hospital discharge planning in the acute care setting within the past four (4) years.
路 Knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid and NCQA guidelines and use of CMS website for research.
路 Home Health Care experience.
