  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting Finance or Business Administration. MBA preferred
  • Minimum of three (3) years of managerial experience.
  • Five (5) years of healthcare finance/medical economics experience.
  • Medicare or Medicaid Related Background with 3 + years of risk adjustment experience with Managed Care Organization
  • Deep understanding of Medicare risk score methodologies.
  • Deep understanding of various reimbursement methodologies (all patient refined diagnosis related groups and Medicare severity diagnosis related groups)
  • Basic Microsoft Project, Visio, Adobe Acrobat; intermediate Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, advanced Microsoft Excel, Access skills are required.
  • Experience leading cross functional business teams.
  • Strong analytic skills.
  • Ability to work with large data sets
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills, including presentation skills.
  • Strong ability to work independently with limited direct supervision.
  • Ability to lead professional staff and resolve conflicts in opinion.
  • Ability to work with automated systems.
  • Ability to work across multi-disciplinary teams.
  • Ability to organize and manage multiple priorities and/or projects by using appropriate methodologies and tools.
  • Strong work ethic, reliable, resourceful, with enthusiastic attitude.
  • Knowledge of Medicare Advantage risk adjustment payment methodology preferred.
  • Knowledge of CMS programs, processes, and payment principles preferred.
