EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Health Promotion, Public Health, Health Services, Health Behaviors/Health Education or related field. Master’s degree in health promotion, public health, or related field preferred.
  • Five to seven (5-7) years of progressive experience in development and implementation of Corporate Health Promotion and/or Wellness Programs.
  • Three (3) years in providing, coordinating, and implementing Corporate Health Promotion and Wellness at the worksite, including onsite health screenings and Heath Risk Assessment Management.
  • Two (2) years of management or supervisory experience in wellness or related industry.
  • One (1) year of experience in design and implementation of employer incentive-based worksite wellness systems.
  • Knowledge of health education theory and practice, health states, and disease management principles.
  • Demonstrated experience in improving health status while reducing health care expenditures.
  • Awareness of health promotion benchmarks, evaluation designs, and direct marketing strategies.
  • Knowledge of health insurance products, practices, and related information. Additional knowledge of health system practice and integrated care and coverage models is preferred.
  • Well-developed analytical skills. Must be able to obtain and analyze data, identify problems, develop solutions, and project long-term effects of interventions.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills necessary to communicate in a clear, concise manner to varying audiences.
  • Strong organizational & multitasking skills needed to manage people, resources, daily program maintenance and several simultaneous projects.
