IT Sr. Data Warehousing Programmer
Responsible for the design, development, production support, enhancement, and maintenance of the data warehouses; perform in-depth analysis of data models and business processes; design, develop and implement complete end-to-end Business Intelligence solutions using industry best practices; assist with metadata repository management activities; prepare and implement data verification and testing methods for operational and performance reports; create reports, dashboards and models for business analytics on the web and mobile consumption; perform administrative activities including installation, configuration, security implementation, upgrades and patches to Cognos Analytics; develop custom SQL queries to gather and integrate data from across multiple data sources; troubleshoot application and data issues as they arise; provide production support, including on-call duties in a fast-paced environment, as well as new projects; work with Business Analysts to gain an understanding of functional requirements; develop implementable technical designs; utilize and apply knowledge of complete SDLC, IBM Cognos Report Studio, Power Cubes, Framework Manager, Power BI, Tableau, SQL, PL/SQL, DataStage, JavaScript, XML, Unix, Python, Microsoft SQL Server, and DB2 to perform assigned duties; research and recommend alternative design solutions where appropriate; analyze requirements and provide support for the design and development of prototypes; and work with the users/business analysts to fine tune the data warehouse and make recommendations.
Location : Detroit, Michigan and multiple undetermined worksites throughout the US.

Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, Engineering Management, or in a related field of study (will accept equivalent foreign degree);
Experience: Five (5) years in the position above, as a Database Analyst, as a BI Developer, as a Business Systems Analyst, as a Programmer Analyst-Database Analyst, or in a related occupation;
Other Requirements: Experience must include five (5) years use of all the following: IBM Cognos Report Studio, Power Cubes, Framework Manager, Power BI, Tableau, Unix, PL/SQL, DataStage, XML, Python, Microsoft SQL Server, and DB2.
Will also accept any suitable combination of education, training, and/or experience.
