IT Applications Systems Analyst/Programmer

Responsible for formulating and defining system scope and objectives through research and fact-finding; develop and modify complex information systems; prepare detailed specifications from which programs will be written; design, code, test, deploy, document, and maintain programs; troubleshoot application issues and data issues when they arise; provide production support including on-call duties in a 24x7 environment, as well as support for new projects; participate in requirements definition sessions to gain a general perspective on the business objectives and business problem that is to be addressed by the system; develop implementable technical designs; research and recommend alternative design solutions where appropriate; analyze requirements, design and develop prototypes and work with the users/business analyst to fine tune the application and make recommendations; participate in peer code/design reviews to verify that quality standards and functional/technical requirements are met; design, code, test, implement and deploy complex programs using C#, JavaScript, HTML and SQL; develop appropriate programs and systems documentation according to established IT standards; conduct customer support call enhancement activities using Genesys framework and Interactive Voice Response(IVR); enhance customer experience through designing and implementing the Mobile application using Salesforce APEX classes; apply Salesforce Development Cycle (SFDC) for creating Integrated Procedures and Batch jobs using Lightening web components (LWC) of Salesforce; integrate multi-tier platforms using Web APIs in Salesforce; coordinate code through GitHub and deploy application among environments using COPADO Framework; create test scenarios and develop test plans to be used in testing the business applications in order to verify that client requirements are incorporated in to the system design; assist in analyzing testing results throughout the project; enhance existing systems; participate in structured walkthroughs and technical reviews; support production systems by helping resolve problems, providing timely follow-up on problem report, optimizing performance and streamlining processes; assist in coordinating developments tasks on projects and problem tickets; utilize knowledge of Team Foundation Server, GitHub, ASP.NET, SQL, SSIS, SSRS, SQL Profiler, Agile methodology, C#, HTML, JavaScript and Entity Framework to perform duties; participate in technical reviews and inspections to verify 'intent of change' is carried out through the entire project; provide support and escalation response to production problem issues/errors; perform root cause analysis and application resolution; keep abreast of new tools, technology and functionalities across the applications; and promote teamwork, initiate a personal training plan, continue acquiring skills and knowledge, and pursue an understanding of the organization’s business plans and strategies.

Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Computer Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or in a related field of study (will accept equivalent foreign degree);
Training: None
Experience: Three (3) years in the position above, as a Full Stack Application Developer, as a Software Developer, or in a related occupation;
Other Requirements: Experience must have included three (3) years use of all the following: Team Foundation Server, GitHub, ASP.NET, SQL, SSIS, SSRS, SQL Profiler, Agile methodology, C#, HTML, JavaScript and Entity Framework.
Will also accept any suitable combination of education, training and/or experience.
