EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

  • Bachelor’s degree or relevant experience may be considered in lieu of degree. Relevant and related experience would be an additional six (6) years of progressive experience in Sales, Business Development or Account Management in the Health Care Industry.
  • Minimum of five (5) years of management experience or experience managing and leading projects and teams.
  • At least seven (7) years of experience with process improvement/project management.
  • At least seven (7) years of developing processes, procedures, and job aides.
  • At least seven (7) years of experience of developing and presenting training modules.
  • Demonstrated track record of successful recruitment and development of staff.
  • Experience using effective verbal and written communications skills.
  • Experience in strong interpersonal, public presentation and persuasion skills.
  • Possesses negotiation, consulting skills with the ability to interact and influence senior leaders.
  • Possesses complex problem-solving skills, a high degree of business acumen and ability to influence change across the company.
  • Advanced proficiency and understanding of the health care industry and market dynamics and trends for all health care products including Federal and State health care laws and mandates.
  • Demonstrated proficiency to interpret and communicate laws and regulations related to health care.
  • Demonstrated ability to keep current with changes, proposed of Federal and State Laws regulations and rulings related to health care.
  • Demonstrated experience effectively work cross-functionally across the organization and externally with members, decisions makers and FMO’s.
  • Demonstrated expertise in handling difficult client issues related to health plan services, policies, and procedures.
  • Demonstrates a high degree of adaptability, comfortable in establishing new directions, managing rapid change, and trying different approaches to deal with uncharted territories.
  • Knowledge of managed care & insurance products.
